On Tuesday October 10, 2000 a firefighting drill was conducted at the Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute in College Park. Along with firefighters from Fort Mead, participants from Company 5 learned how to attack helicopter fires, vehicle fires and tanker fires. With the help of MFRI instructors Gene Davis and Jonathan Bolden, and Scheduling Coordinator Ray Hodgson, the participants developed valuable skills in aiding citizens of our community.
