On Saturday, May 22, 2004 members, ladies auxiliary, and career staff from Station 5 joined together to welcome Dwayne Frost home from his year and four month tour in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

CHVFD celebrated Dwayne's safe return home by having a cookout at the station. The company shared a few gifts with Dwayne that celebrated his return. Dwayne was also presented with a certificate from the State of Maryland that was awarded in his absence.

Dwayne spoke about the hardships and thanked the company for their prayers and their support. He summed up his experience by singing a portion of the 547th Spirit Song.

We are very proud of Dwayne and his family for their sacrifice.
