On Saturday, April 24, 2004 members and career staff from Station 5 joined with the career crew from Station 8 (Seat Pleasant) and a others for the Annual Christmas in April project. This year the “battalion house” was located on Foote Street in Seat Pleasant’s first due.
House Co-Captains John Weaver and Leroy Smith directed activities during the event. Volunteers took part in various tasks from painting, to cleaning, to carpentry, and plumbing.
We would like to thank the home owner and her children for their hospitality. They graciously provided breakfast and lunch for all of the volunteers.
