CHVFD Mourns the Loss of Past Assistant Chief Raymond “RC” Jones
The Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department is sad to report the passing of past Assistant Chief Raymond Carlton “RC” Jones, Sr. , on the morning of November 22, 2022.

The Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department is sad to report the passing of past Assistant Chief Raymond Carlton “RC” Jones, Sr. , on the morning of November 22, 2022.
On February 9, 2021, our department lost a dedicated, well-respected member of our company and of the Prince George’s County fire service, but more importantly we lost a dear friend and family member.
The officers and members of the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department are very sad to report that our friend Dave Breeden, Jr., Life Member, Past Fire Chief and President, passed away on July 6, 2020.

The Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department is a non-profit organization that provides fire and emergency services for the town of Capitol Heights and surrounding communities. We are located about 5 miles from our nation’s capital, in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Our station is staffed both by career and volunteer personnel.
