On June 16, 2005, members from the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department brought Engine 52 to Emergency Vehicle Specialists (EVS) in Hagerstown, Maryland for its rehabilitation.
As of September 16, 2005, we continue to make progress on the rehab. EVS has advised us of the following progress:
The engine has been painted and the front bumper and the windshield will be put back on Monday. The compartment doors and hard sleeve rays are currently being painted and will go back on this week.
A meeting is scheduled with the company that is lettering the apparatus on Thursday of next week to go over lettering and stripe styles.
Stay tuned for progress photos and updates.
