Members Take a Trip to Hagerstown to See Engine 52

Members from the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department took a trip to Hagerstown, Maryland to view the progress on Engine 52 and meet with the lettering contractor. The engine has been painted with its new color scheme and some of the compartment doors have been reinstalled. We should receive a proposal on the lettering/striping sometime this week. After the graphics are applied the hardware, lights, and bumper will be re-installed. The head set system will be delivered this week. Engine 52 was brought to Emergency Vehicle Specialists (EVS) in Hagerstown, Maryland for its rehabilitation on June 16, 2005. Stay tuned for progress photos and updates. Related:
