CHVFD Members, Personnel Stand-By at Annual Joint Service Open House at Andrews Air Force Base

Members of the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department and career staff were standing by at Andrews Air Force Base during their annual Joint Service Open House on Saturday, May 20, 2006.

Crews were on stand by in case of an emergency during the event and were able to enjoy some of the show while they were there.

Some of the day’s spectators even dropped by to see the apparatus and get their picture taken.

We are located about 5 miles from our nation’s capital, in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Our station is staffed both by career and volunteer personnel.
