On June 10, 2006, the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department and career personnel participated in Capitol Heights Day.
Units were on hand for the parade, which moved through Capitol Heights to the Brooke Road Park. A crew was on hand to provide a variety of fire prevention information and to answer any questions our neighbors had. A few of the neighborhood children stopped by to check out Engine 52 and to see what it feels like to dress like a firefighter.
