On Saturday, May 2, 2009 members of the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department participated in their second year at the Harlem Renaissance Festival.
At last year’s event, we shared fire and life safety education with at least 500 citizens. Despite this year’s rainy weather, approximately 150 people came to take part in the fire safety activities and pick up some take-home information.
The next scheduled event for the Fire Safety House 5 is the Annual Community Day at the Faith Tabernacle of Prayer & Praise on Walker Mill Road.
