Each of us knows someone whose life has been affected by cancer. This holiday season, the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department will celebrate those who have corageously battled this horrible disease on a special Tree of Courage. Personalized ornaments will be placed on the Tree of Courage at our firehouse in honor of survivors and in memory our friends and loved ones. Ornaments will bring awareness to all of the different types of cancer that affect so many lives every day.
For a minimum donation of $5, we will place a personalized ornament on the 2015 Tree of Courage
To place your ornament, please send your loved one’s name, tell us if it’s in honor or in memory, and the type of cancer.

We are located about 5 miles from our nation’s capital, in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Our station is staffed both by career and volunteer personnel.
