Akron® SaberJet Nozzle Trial to Take Place at Company 5
Two companies in Prince George’s County have been selected to test the Akron® SaberJet Nozzle for a 60 day period. Companies 5 and 47 will be using the nozzle in their daily operation after an orientation by Akron Brass representatives. We have learned that Company 5 will begin its trial of the new nozzle on January 16, 2002.
Chief Frank Briguglio Inducted into the Founders’ Circle
The Founders’ Circle Memorial & Fallen Firefighter Memorial Ceremony was held on October 19, 2000 at 6pm. One of the additions to the Founders’ Circle Memorial was dedicated to our past Chief and past Prince George’s County Chief Frank Briguglio.

Prince George’s County Volunteer Operations Commander Appointed
Chief James McClelland, Sr. was appointed as Volunteer Operations Commander of Prince George’s County. Chief McClelland has been with this department for thirty years and has been active in many leadership roles around the county. Congratulations Jim!

Assistant Chief John Weaver has been named as one of the County Department’s Safety Officers. There have been five county members appointed as Safety Officers thus far. Congratulations John!
