Volunteer Firefighter Raymond T. Payne was inducted into the U.S. Army. Private 1st Class Payne was assigned to the World War I Training Center in Waco, Texas. Raymond died on April 8, 1963 and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery. To learn more about our veterans visit: www.chvfd.org/veterans
