Corporal Fred Miller

Corporal Fred Miller

Corporal Fred Miller also served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. He was assigned to the Signal Corps as a switchboard operator. He served with the 7784 Signal Service Company in Orleans, France. Fred joined the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department in 1950.

Corporal Herbert Miller

Corporal Herbert Miller served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. He was a Squad Leader for Company “I”, 112th Infantry Regiment, 28th Division. He was stationed in Heilbronn, Germany. Herbert Joined the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department in 1947 and is a Life Member.

Staff Sergeant Arthur Miller

Staff Sergeant Arthur Miller served in the U.S. Air Force from 1948 to 1952. He was assigned to Base Operations for the 3rd Bomber Wing at Kunsan, Korea. Arthur joined the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department in 1952.

John “Jack” Devine

U.S. Marine Corps John “Jack” Devine was a member of the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department from 1945 until his death in September of 2000.
