U.S. Army Rangers – 82nd Airborne Division – Signal Corp
Sergeant Ramon L. Davis served in The U.S. Army Rangers from 1981 to 1986. He was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division – Signal Corp. After completing basic training at Fort Bragg he completed a tour of duty in Germany. In October 1983, Sergeant Davis was part of the Recon Group during the invasion of Granada by U.S. troops to insure the safety of American medical students at the St. George University. After Granada, Sergeant Davis was deployed to Beirut, Lebanon as part of a peacekeeping mission. Ramon has been a member of the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department since 1988 and is a Life Member. He is currently employed as a Captain at the Fort Meade Fire Department.
