The Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department is sad to report the passing of past Assistant Chief Raymond Carlton “RC” Jones, Sr. , on the morning of November 22, 2022.
On February 9, 2021, our department lost a dedicated, well-respected member of our company and of the Prince George’s County fire service, but more importantly we lost a dear friend and family member.
The officers and members of the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department are very sad to report that our friend Dave Breeden, Jr., Life Member, Past Fire Chief and President, passed away on July 6, 2020.

For those who are unable to be with us on April 15th, you can get started on our website and sign-up to attend one of our regular company orientations.
We applaud Vivian on this momentous achievement and wish her a successful term as President of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Maryland State Firemen’s Association (LAMSFA).
Each of us knows someone whose life has been affected by cancer. This holiday, you can honor someone who has battled cancer on a special Tree of Courage.
